Northern Irelands First Solely Independent Dental Hygiene Clinic

Northern Ireland’s FIRST solely independent dental hygiene clinic ESTABLISHED in 2018, ML Dental Hygiene Clinic is the first of its kind in Northern Ireland and as such, this independent practice is solely dedicated to improving and maintaining oral health of all its patients.

​Its founder is Louise McAtasney, who has worked in the dental industry for twenty years, spending ten of these as a dental hygienist attached to dental practices providing bespoke hygienist treatment and advice. During this time, Louise has gained a broad range of experience and skills, enabling her to provide the full spectrum of hygienist treatments to the highest standard. A particular interest of Louise’s is treating patients who have dental fear, helping them overcome their dental anxiety and become confident, regular attendees.

​Louise is a member of both the Irish Dental Hygienist’s Association and the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy. She has shown how passionate she truly is about the work of a dental hygienist by opening up Northern Ireland’s first independent dental hygienist practice in March 2019, allowing patients direct access to the services of a dental hygienist.
